LIBRARY

Doon Public school Library is a very special place in the Campus with its rich collection of books. Library stands as a unique Knowledge Centre that offers access to essential and specialized information resources and services to meet the growing information needs. Library currently houses over 20,000 Volumes of books. Other resources include Videos, Audios, CDs, DVD, Question Papers, Thesis and Project Reports. Our mission is to enhance and enable discovery through the effective utilization of information resources.

Books can be borrowed against the Library Membership Card issued by the Library. Books are issued for 15 days and they may be renewed for another 15 days provided no other reader has reserved the book

General Rules

• The Library user shall not engage in audible conversation in any part of the Library;
• A person shall not write upon, damage or mark any book belonging to the Library;
• A person responsible for any damage caused by him / her to the books or any other property belonging to the Library, shall be required to pay the penalty imposed upon him/her by the Librarian;
• Use of mobile phone in the Library is prohibited;
• Smoking, pan chewing and spitting in the library is prohibited.
• Photography is not allowed; and
• Membership privileges of a user can be suspended on account of misbehavior with the Library staff or for indecent manners.
